Prospero Teaching is looking to recruit an excellent Hospitality and Catering Teacher for a new role this year. You will deliver practical and theoretical lessons on cooking and food service, ensuring a safe environment and managing curriculum development.

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in Hospitality and Catering that are engaging, practical, and aligned with the curriculum.
• Teach effectively in both classrooms and training kitchens, ensuring students gain hands‑on skills.
• Set high expectations that motivate students to reach their abilities.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs and ensure inclusive practice.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, coursework, and assessments.
• Provide timely feedback to help students develop.
• Ensure safe, effective use of specialist equipment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Provide references for the last 24 months worked and, where possible, the last two roles working with children.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
