Position: Cover Supervisor (Temporary)
About the Role

We are working with a number of secondary schools across Liverpool who are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide classroom cover in the absence of teaching staff.

This role is ideal for:

* Graduates considering a career in teaching

* Experienced Cover Supervisors

* Individuals with strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills

You will be responsible for supervising whole classes, delivering pre-set work, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4

* Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

* Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged

* Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day

Requirements

* Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)

* Strong behaviour management and communication skills

* Confidence managing a classroom independently

* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Right to work in the UK
