Salary: Grade 7, Points 12-19 (Meridian Trust), £25,193- £28,244 actual (£28,598-£32,061 FTE)
Hours of workHours of work: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, term time + 10 days to be worked during school closure periods.
OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Librarian. This key role will provide an effective library service for the academy.
The Opportunity- Develop the provision of library service for students and staff including the financial management of the resources.
- Ensure that staff and students are aware of the services available and encourage maximum use of the library.
- Manage the day-to-day organisation of the library, including managing the book stocks.
- Promote a positive learning environment within the library.
- Have a good educational background with evidence of CPD.
- High level of administrative skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Be a team player, with a 'can do' solution focused attitude.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
- Apprenticeship and CPD opportunities which allow you to gain specialist knowledge in a role you are passionate about developing in.
