About the Role
Milk Education is excited to be recruiting for a SEN Behaviour & Learning Mentor to support our partner SEN schools across Liverpool. As a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor, you will play a vital part in helping students overcome behavioural challenges, improve their learning engagement, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
This Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor role is perfect for someone who thrives on supporting young people, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about creating positive change in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor – Liverpool, you will:
* Deliver 1:1 and small‑group support as a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor
* Implement behaviour improvement strategies to help students succeed
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams in your role as a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor
* Support students with emotional regulation, engagement, and learning routines
* Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment as a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor
* Encourage positive attitudes, resilience, and personal development

Requirements for the Role
To be successful as a Secondary Behaviour & Learning Mentor – Liverpool, you should have:

* A passion for behaviour support and learning development

* An enhanced DBS, or willingness to complete one
