Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the L30 area on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide general classroom support in a Year 4 classroom, assisting with day-to-day learning activities and delivering engaging phonics and reading sessions. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team who are passionate about creating a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils.
• Support the learning and development of Reception pupils through structured play, group work, and guided reading.
• Assist with Reading & Writing in Key Stage 2
• Encourage inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroom.
• Support lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessment activities.

• Recent and relevant experience working in an educational or childcare setting.
• A passion for supporting KS2 learning, particularly literacy and maths.
• Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team.
