As a Maths Cover Supervisor
, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared Maths lessons to classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Maintain a calm, supportive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour following the school’s behaviour policy.
• Engage and motivate students, especially within Maths and numeracy-focused lessons.
• Support pupils to stay on task, understand learning objectives, and complete work to a high standard.
• Be a reliable, positive, and proactive part of the school community.

This role is perfect for individuals considering a future in teaching, recent graduates, or experienced educators looking for a new challenge.

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths (essential).
• Previous experience in schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching, or similar (desirable).
• Confident behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s education.
• Resilience, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
