Milk Education is excited to be supporting secondary schools across Liverpool in their search for a confident and motivated Science Cover Supervisor
. This Science Cover Supervisor role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Science and confident delivering pre‑planned lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

As a Science Cover Supervisor
, you will be responsible for maintaining learning within the Science department during teacher absences. Key duties of the Science Cover Supervisor include:

• Delivering pre‑prepared Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task
• Supporting students with Science-based tasks and practical lesson expectations
• Managing classroom behaviour and following school behaviour policies
• Ensuring learning objectives are met during each Science Cover Supervisor session
• Providing feedback to the Science department on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes

This Science Cover Supervisor position is ideal for graduates in Science, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or anyone with a strong interest in supporting STEM education.

• Experience working with young people (school-based experience preferred but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of key Science concepts
• Confidence delivering Science content to KS3 and KS4
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, resilient, and proactive attitude
• Science graduates, STEM graduates, and aspiring Science teachers encouraged to apply
