Job DescriptionLecturer in Maths – Full‑time, Permanent, starting September 2026. This role is based in the Balliol Building, Liverpool.
Role OverviewDue to continued growth for the 2026/27 academic year, we are seeking two full‑time Lecturers in Maths. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment, supporting students to achieve strong outcomes and progress to their next steps. As part of a dynamic and supportive department, you will inspire and challenge learners to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Maths teaching across a range of levels.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to support learner progress.
- Use technology and virtual learning environments to enhance independent learning.
- Support students’ pastoral needs and promote a positive learning environment.
- Participate in curriculum reviews and continuous professional development.
- Engage with parents, employers, and external stakeholders to enrich the learner experience.
- Relevant Level 3 vocational qualification.
- PGCE/Certificate of Education or equivalent.
- Proven teaching experience across multiple levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and assessment expertise.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
