1-1 Teaching Assistant for Mainstream Primary School

Location:

L4 Area, Liverpool
Position Type:
Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Duration:
Until the End of the Academic Year
Daily Rate: up to £106 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school located in the L4 area of Liverpool. This position is full-time and will involve providing essential support to a pupil with mobility issues, ensuring their seamless integration into all aspects of school life.
Responsibilities:
 
* Mobility Support:
Assist the student in moving around the school premises, ensuring their safety and comfort.
 
* Personal Care:
Provide support with personal care needs, maintaining a respectful and dignified approach at all times.
 
* Academic Assistance:
Work closely with the classroom teacher to facilitate the student's engagement in academic activities, adapting materials and lessons as necessary.
 
* Inclusion:
Foster an inclusive environment for the student, promoting participation in social and extracurricular activities.
 
* Communication:
Maintain effective communication with the student, school staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach.
Requirements:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Understanding of the challenges faced by students with mobility issues.
Ability to adapt and modify teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the student.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Working Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday
8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Duration:
This position will run until the end of the academic year.
