Math's Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Maths Teacher to join our specialist SEMH secondary provision in South Liverpool. You will deliver high-quality maths teaching across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils who require a personalised, relational approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering maths lessons tailored to SEMH learners
- Differentiating work to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
- Creating a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Working closely with pastoral and behaviour teams to ensure consistency
- Contributing to whole-school approaches to emotional regulation and engagement
- Supporting pupils through GCSE Maths or alternative accreditation routes
- QTS with a specialism in Mathematics
- Experience teaching in SEMH, alternative provision, or challenging settings
- Strong behaviour management and relational practice
- Ability to build trust and motivate disengaged learners
