Overview

Take the lead in assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.

• Lead collaboration with families, staff, and external agencies to design and implement tailored support plans that meet each child’s needs.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
• Demonstrate multi‑agency working and lead staff meetings as required.
• Uphold safeguarding commitments: complete enhanced DBS checks, deliver safeguarding training and regular refresher training.

• Level 3 qualification in a UK‑recognised early years qualification and experience at a senior level.
• Detailed understanding of Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience working with children with SEND requirements.
• Experience working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
