Key Responsibilities
You will lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 1:
- Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths. - Full Class Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting. - Inclusion & Differentiation:
Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom. - Assessment & Strategy:
Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement. - Collaborative Working:
Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
- Qualifications:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply. - Experience:
Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 1, with an understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations. - Passion: A genuine commitment to inclusive teaching and a desire to make a real difference in the community.
- Professionalism: A reliable, reflective practitioner who is committed to professional growth and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Compliance:
An Enhanced DBS check on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.
