Milk Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the L5 area, who are seeking a KS2 Teacher for a Year 3 class.
This role is ECT‑friendly and ideal for teachers who are either at the start of their career or looking to develop their confidence within a supportive and well‑structured school environment. You will be joining a collaborative KS2 team with strong leadership, clear expectations, and access to experienced colleagues who are keen to support and mentor.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to refine classroom practice while delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful learning experiences during a key stage of pupils’ educational development.
Classroom & School Support- Welcoming primary school rooted in the local community
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support available where required
- Supportive senior leadership team with an open‑door policy
- Collaborative KS2 team with shared planning and guidance
- Positive, encouraging environment for ECT development
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum, with support as needed
- Establish positive routines and strong relationships within a Year 3 classroom
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform planning
- Support pupils with developing reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and numeracy skills
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, mentors, the SENCO, and senior leadership
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are very welcome to apply
- A developing or secure understanding of KS2, particularly Year 3
- A reflective practitioner who is open to feedback and professional development
- A positive, nurturing, and child‑centred approach to teaching
- Confidence to work collaboratively and seek support when needed
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
