NOW Education is currently recruiting caring, committed, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Primary and Secondary schools in Liverpool.
The Role- Support pupils on an individual basis within the classroom
- Help pupils access learning and stay engaged
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
- Support pupils with additional needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH needs
- Speech & Language difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Build positive relationships to support confidence, wellbeing, and progress
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for making a difference in education
