1:1 Teaching Assistant TA 1 - two posts available

  • Salary: NJC Grade C Pt 4 Salary FTE £26,016 Pro-rata
  • Location: St Oswald's CE Primary School
  • Contract: Temporary
  • Working Pattern: Term Time/Part Time
  • Hours: 16.25 hours per week. Role 1 Monday to Friday 08:45AM - 12:00PM 16.25 hours Role 2 Monday to Friday 12:00PM - 15:15PM 16.25 hours.

Applicants must have experience in working in a primary school. The positions will involve supporting the child under the supervision of the class teacher in class.

This is an opportunity for ambitious Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated and supportive team. The appointments are for September 2026.

Qualifications and Responsibilities
  • Has commitment and passion for inclusion, ensuring individual pupil needs are identified early and are met through targeted provision.
  • Has a desire to work closely with families to enhance children’s experiences.
  • Is a team player, able to inspire others to approach their practice creatively so that all learners believe in themselves.
  • Will work with teachers to help monitor pupil progress.
  • Experience working in a primary school.
  • Ability to support children under the supervision of a class teacher.
