We currently have a vacancy for a Multi Skilled Construction Development Coach to join our team working across multiple funding streams including Adult Skills and Study Programme. Our Coaches plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners to progress into a range of opportunities including those within the Construction and Built Environment. In addition, our Coaches support learners throughout their learning journey with vocational and employability skills, which include English, Maths, Digital and personal development.
Our Construction programmes are delivered from our dedicated Construction Skills Centre and are focused on developing our learners’ hands on skills and knowledge including Woodwork, Plastering, Plumbing, tiling and more whilst working towards a Certificated qualification. Therefore, it is a requirement of this position that you have experience within the Construction Sector and are able to follow a curriculum plan which supports learners gain new skills in line with but not limited to the above.
You will deliver engaging and inspiring training and employment programmes that support young people and adults to achieve their fullest potential and identifying and supporting learners with SEND through Study Programme and Adult Education.
Qualifications and Experience- You’re passionate about supporting young people and adults to achieve their fullest potential, no matter what their background, starting point or situation.
- You must have experience of working with individuals who are not in employment, education or training as well as experience delivering employability qualifications.
- Qualifications and/or experience in construction and the built environment.
- Recent assessing/teaching experience.
- A minimum of grade C mathematics and English or Level 2 functional skills.li>
- You have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- You’re able to build and maintain relationships.
- You have a strong awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
- You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS.
