Full time (Monday Friday)

• Monday & Friday:
  Delivering maths lessons to students, following a broad and engaging curriculum
• Tuesday Thursday:
  Providing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) cover across the school
• Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom to promote progress, engagement, and positive behaviour
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team to meet individual pupil needs

The academy is a small, supportive secondary setting with a strong focus on inclusion, personal development, and positive relationships. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, structured environment where pupils feel safe, understood, and motivated to succeed. The school places high value on consistency, clear routines, and tailored support for learners who need it most.

• Experience teaching or supporting maths up to Key Stage 4 (desirable)
• Confidence delivering engaging and accessible maths lessons
• A good understanding of how to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD (desirable)
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
