We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Specialist to join our dedicated team supporting pupils aged 11-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.
Our aim is to provide outstanding educational provision that meets not only academic needs but also the holistic development of every pupil. We achieve this through a flexible, skilled workforce in an inclusive, caring environment where pupils are always at the centre of everything we do.
As a SEND Specialist, you will:
- Lead and support strategies to meet a wide range of SEND needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.
- Develop and monitor individual education plans and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff to promote inclusive practice.
- Proven experience supporting pupils with complex SEND needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
