North West/ temporary / £95 - 115 per day

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant on a temp to perm basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and promote positive relationships.

• Support students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive relationships
• Encourage engagement and participation in learning

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
• Previous experience in a school, alternative provision or similar setting
• A calm and consistent approach to behaviour support
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting students who need additional encouragement
