Position Overview

North West/ temporary / £95 - 115 per day

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist provision in the Speke area, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The setting provides a structured and supportive learning environment, focused on helping young people build confidence, develop positive relationships and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant from September on a long-term basis. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will be supporting students across Key Stage 4 / KS4, working closely with teaching staff to manage behaviour, encourage engagement and provide tailored support to students with additional emotional and behavioural needs.

Support students with SEMH needs across Key Stage 4/ KS4.

Manage challenging behaviour within a secondary school setting.

Collaborate with teaching staff to encourage student engagement and behaviour management.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.

Staff are paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring proper tax and national insurance handling.
