Primary tutor

The Role

You’ll teach small groups of primary‑aged children (maximum of four pupils) across Key Stage 2, delivering high‑quality maths and English tuition tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Two evenings a week (4‑7pm).

• Experience teaching or tutoring children across Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary maths and English curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, encouraging and nurturing approach.
• Ability to adapt teaching to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Experience preparing pupils for 11+ / entrance examinations (e.g. Bluecoat, Belvedere or similar).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience.

• Small class sizes (maximum of four pupils).
