Are you an experienced graphic designer looking to inspire future creative professionals? The School of Creative Arts and Fashion at The City of Liverpool College is seeking a passionate Graphic Design Lecturer to join our bank staffing pool.
As a Graphic Design Lecturer, you will bring expertise in visual communication, branding, typography, digital design, and creative problem-solving. You will support students in developing industry-relevant skills and preparing for careers within the creative sector. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an approved Bank Lecturer with The City of Liverpool College, there may be a range of teaching opportunities available throughout the academic year. These can vary from occasional or infrequent teaching hours to regular weekly commitments, including substantial teaching allocations across one or more days per week. In some instances, bank appointments may also lead to fixed‑term opportunities for the duration of an academic year or progression into more permanent teaching roles, subject to curriculum need, student enrolment numbers, and performance.
Bank appointments are designed to provide flexibility for both the College and applicants, enabling us to respond effectively to fluctuations in student recruitment and curriculum demand whilst providing opportunities for experienced industry professionals and educators to join our teaching community.
If you wish to apply for this role, please submit an application with supporting information detailing your professional industry experience, specialist knowledge, and any previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience. A PGCE or recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Applications from experienced industry practitioners are welcomed.
As this is a bank advert, you may not be contacted straight away and may be contacted in the future for ad hoc hours. There will also be no job specification for you to view. If you wish to apply for this role, please submit an application with supporting information in your field of work
