Design Technology Teacher

£162.31 - £223.62 per day (depending on experience)

A forward-thinking secondary school is looking to appoint a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a growing department.

The school has recently invested in its DT facilities and is keen to expand opportunities for students interested in engineering, product design and practical problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity to join a department with exciting plans for future development.

• Teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4.
• Delivering lessons in areas such as Product Design and Resistant Materials.
• Supporting practical workshop activities.
• Promoting safe working practices.
• Assessing coursework and practical projects.
• Encouraging creativity, innovation and technical skill development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Design Technology.
• Strong practical and technical knowledge.
• Effective classroom and workshop management skills.
• Enthusiasm for creative and vocational learning.
