The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate.

* Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

* Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an outstanding Maths curriculum.

* Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

* Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school (placements welcomed for ECTs).

* Excellent classroom management skills.

* A commitment to raising standards and improving student outcomes.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

* The right to work in the UK.

* Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS): £34,068 - £52,834 per annum, depending on experience and current pay scale.
