We areseekingan enthusiastic, experienced equine veterinary surgeon to join Leahurst Equine Practice (LEP) for up to 1 year to cover a colleague on maternity leave.

LEP is a5-vetfirst-opinion,predominantlyambulatorypractice working alongside the internationally recognised Leahurst Equine Hospital.

This rolerepresentsan exciting opportunity for a practitioner who enjoys delivering high-quality clinical care, teaching future veterinarians and, importantly, is passionate about developing and growing a clinical caseload.

Applicants should be MRCVS registered or eligible for registration by the employment start date have experience in equine first-opinion practice anddemonstrateexcellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.

A passion forteachingstudents and contributing to a collaborative team is essential.

Salary is available at Grade 7 (£39,355–£45,413) or Grade 8 (£47,389 - £59,966) depending on qualifications and experience, together with out-of-hours payments, a £1,600 annual CPD allowance and a generous
14.5% employer contribution to a defined benefits USS pension

The post is full time and fixed term for up to 1 year, the preferred start date is as soon as possible from 28th September 2026.
