The Role As a SEND Teacher, you will deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of every pupil while creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. Using Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to set, monitor and review personalised learning targets. Adapting teaching strategies and resources to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum. Working collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, teaching assistants and other professionals to provide the best possible support. Building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress.

Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Following all safeguarding, SEND and school policies to ensure the wellbeing of every pupil. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including Autism, communication needs, SLD and PMLD. A strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and effective SEND teaching strategies. The ability to inspire and lead support staff while working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills. A compassionate, patient and flexible approach with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
