Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, using differentiated teaching strategies to promote engagement and progress.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
- Maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development across the school day.
- Adapt to school policies, routines, and individual pupil needs.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff to support pupil outcomes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training with QTS pending.
- Applications welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) required prior to starting.
