Are you a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with Special Needs, particularly those on the Autism spectrum?
Aura Education is recruiting for a prominent primary SEND school in the heart of Liverpool, they are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join their team for the entire academic year.
Responsibilities:- Providing oneon-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individualized education plans (IEPs) are met.
- Assisting classroom teachers in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Implementing strategies to help students develop their communication, social, and academic skills.
- Offering emotional support to children, helping them build confidence and independence.
- Collaborating with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to assess, plan, and monitor the progress of students.
- Proven experience in supporting children with Special Needs, with a particular focus on autism spectrum disorder.
- A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a Special Educational Needs environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, their families, and the school team.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible, ensuring that each student's unique requirements are met.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Needs.
- Competitive daily rate of £100-£106 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
