Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, using differentiated teaching strategies to promote engagement and progress.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
  • Maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development across the school day
  • Adapt to school policies, routines, and individual pupil needs
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff to support pupil outcomes
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training with QTS pending
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) required prior to starting
