The role

We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Developmental Coach to join our team based in our Main Liverpool Campus on Renshaw Street. This role will also in the coming months potentially require delivery within outlying Liverpool City Region areas, such as Halton, Southport, Sefton, St Helens etc depending on referral demands.

Our Development coaches plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners progress into a range of industries including Business Admin, dental, construction, childcare and housing.

In addition, our Coaches support learners throughout their learning journey with employability skills, which include English, Maths, Digital and personal development. You will deliver engaging and inspiring training and employment programmes to learners aged between 16 and 24, which support young people to achieve their full potential.

You will support your learners to achieve their goals and qualifications, advising and guiding them through their programme and supporting them into employment, apprenticeships, and/or Further Education opportunities, supported by business development teams. The programmes you deliver will be well designed and structured, with the ability to respond to individual learner requirements.

The right fit
  • Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential, no matter what their background, starting point or situation.
  • You have experience of working with individuals who are not in employment, education or training and delivering employability qualifications, with a focus on 16-24 year old learners.
  • You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS.
  • You have recent teaching experience and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • You have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • You’re able to build and maintain relationships with strong communication skills.
  • You have a strong understanding and awareness of mental health issues.
