An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join The City of Liverpool College within the School of Engineering, Logistics & Green Technology
.
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will develop the skills and experience needed to support individuals and groups of learners in achieving their learning goals across one of the largest and most diverse vocational curriculums in the city region.
Working alongside experienced teaching and support staff, you will provide valuable assistance to learners across a range of programmes, supporting their development, engagement and progress. The role may involve working with learners studying Level 1 through to advanced-level qualifications
, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of engineering, logistics and green technology disciplines.
This is a full-time Level 3 apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities Supporting the planning of learning, learning activities and assessmentContributing to the development of learning outcomes and achievement criteriaSupporting individuals or groups of learners to achieve their learning goals within theory, practical and workplace sessionsHelping individuals or groups of learners to achieve their learning goals by delivering agreed intervention strategiesHelping individuals or groups of learners to achieve their learning goals by supporting numeracy and literacy developmentSupporting the assessment of learning by feeding back learner progress to teachers and assessors so that future activities may be modified to more effectively meet learner needsSupporting the effective use of technology within theory, practical and workplace sessionsPromoting and demonstrating effective behaviours for learningLiaising with all staff, learners and stakeholders in a professional mannerContributing to the planning of learning and learning interventions with relevant stakeholdersContributing to the planning of transition and progression activities and eventsGeneric duties:

Essential:
Level 2 qualification in Maths/numeracy and English/literacyGood knowledge of ICT, able to support technology-based learning activitiesLevel 4 qualification e.g. Degree or equivalentPrevious experience in an educational environmentA personal ambition to develop and progress within Further EducationDesirable:
