We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic
SEMH Primary Teacher
to join our specialist school setting, working within a
Year 5/6 Nurture Class
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
and wants to make a genuine difference to their educational journey.

You will become part of an
amazing, supportive and collaborative staff team
who are committed to creating a safe, nurturing and positive environment where every child can feel valued, understood and successful.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an enthusiastic and compassionate primary teacher.
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH needs.
  • Can build strong, trusting and positive relationships with pupils.
  • Creates a calm, nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
  • Understands the importance of emotional wellbeing alongside academic progress.
  • Can adapt teaching and learning to meet individual needs.
  • Has high expectations while celebrating each child’s individual achievements.
  • Is patient, resilient, consistent and creative in their approach.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a dedicated specialist team.
