Prospero Teaching are currently looking for experienced SEND Tutors to support children and young people across Liverpool!

The Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated teachers, tutors and mentors to provide 1:1 educational support to learners with additional needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with their learner, building a positive relationship and adapting sessions to suit their individual needs, abilities and educational goals.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and helping young people overcome barriers to education.

Experience, Training and

Qualifications:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Previous teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience
Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
QTS or equivalent desirable
Patient, creative and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
