A friendly and inclusive primary school in the L4 area is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team for the 2026/2027 academic year. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with children, this role offers the chance to make a real difference from the very first day of term.

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who need additional guidance
• Encouraging confidence, independence and active participation in learning
• Assisting with classroom preparation, learning resources and daily activities
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and personal development
• Helping to create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team to promote positive outcomes for every child

• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
• Are caring, patient and passionate about supporting young learners
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are proactive, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one (full support provided)
