Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90-110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school located in the Wavertree area of Liverpool. This school is seeking a nuturing and committed Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

This role will be based in a Year 2 class working alongside a team of support staff. This role is not 1:1 based, but you will be helping to support pupils with SEN needs across the classroom as part of the support team. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30. Qualifications

• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
• Experience in KS1, Year 2 would be an advantage
• Experience working with SEN pupils
