Our Adult Skills team generally work with adults who are further away from the employment market and support them in gaining a qualification but also boosting their confidence and other soft skills. Our LCG head office is based in County Durham, but our employability provision operates nationally.

Learning Curve Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Level 2 Early Years Tutor to join our Adult Skills provision in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, classroom-based employability and sector-based work academy programmes to adult learners looking to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to progress into employment within the Early Years sector.

This role is site-based and requires the tutor to deliver engaging face-to-face learning sessions that prepare learners for employment opportunities within nurseries, pre-schools, schools, and other childcare settings.

The successful candidate will have recent occupational experience within the Early Years, Childcare, Education, or Family Support sectors, alongside a passion for supporting adults to develop personally and professionally while progressing towards sustained employment.

• Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face training sessions across bespoke Early Years and employability programmes.
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and learner-centred environment that fosters confidence, participation, and achievement.
• Teach and assess learners across a range of vocational and employability subjects relating to childcare and early years practice.
• Provide learners with sector-specific knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to work effectively within Early Years settings.
• Deliver sessions covering child development, professional standards, safeguarding, communication, teamwork, and workplace expectations.
• Assess learner understanding through a range of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression and achievement.
• Monitor learner attendance, engagement, and progress, implementing appropriate intervention strategies where required.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet a wide range of learner abilities, learning styles, and support needs.
• Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet organisational quality standards and funding requirements.

• Provide regular support, guidance, mentoring, and coaching throughout the learner journey.
• Encourage learner engagement, resilience, motivation, and commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
• Support learners in developing employability skills including communication, professionalism, teamwork, problem solving, and confidence.
