The Role:

We are seeking to appoint an academic or practitioner to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Sport Business (particularly in the area of sports analytics or sports technology) on a 0.6fte contract. You will have sport business industry experience within the Sport Business industry.

What we are looking for:
  • Ability to teach Sport Business, in the area of sports analytics or sports technology, at undergraduate level in relevant lectures, tutorials and seminars.
  • Experience of teaching at undergraduate level or delivering professional training in sports analytics and sports technology
  • Evidence of knowledge and practical experience in sport analytics/technology
  • An active interest in women’s sport and the application of quantitative research methods to contemporary sport business issues (desirable).
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience.
  • A strong commercial awareness of the sport industry.
  • Ability to provide excellent pastoral and academic support, advice and guidance to students that takes account of their individual needs and circumstances, signposting to specialist services where appropriate.
