Sen Teacher

We are seeking an outstanding SEN Teacher for a long-term position at a prestigious, 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the L36 area. The successful candidate will teach tailored curriculum pathways to students with Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Epilepsy. Hours are 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, providing a structured and rewarding working routine within a state-of-the-art SEN department.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated secondary lessons tailored to pupils with MLD and ASD.
Create a structured, sensory-friendly classroom environment conducive to learning and well-being.
Collaborate with SENCO, Therapists, and TAs to ensure complete support for pupils with Epilepsy and SEN conditions.
Utilize visual aids, structured routines, and adaptive learning strategies.
Write and update EHCP reviews, target tracking, and progress reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
Substantial experience teaching SEN secondary pupils (MLD/ASD focus preferred).
Sound knowledge of differentiated secondary curriculum pathways and EHCP processes.
Strong classroom leadership and ability to deploy support staff effectively.
DBS on the Update Service.
