Milk Education is recruiting for a mainstream primary school in Liverpool (L5 area). The staff team is committed to creating a nurturing, structured, and aspirational environment where every child can thrive.
We are seeking a strong academic Learning Support Assistant to join the team and support the delivery of high-quality learning across the school. This role combines focused 1:1 academic support alongside general classroom responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of Learning Support Assistant:Small groups for Maths and English, supporting
Year 2 pupils in the morning and general TA in the afternoons
- Work as a general classroom Teaching Assistant across various subjects for the remainder of the week
- Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils
- Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging learning activities
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
- Differentiate and adapt learning support to meet individual needs
- Resilient, patient, and nurturing
- Passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH / SEN needs
- A strong communicator and an effective team player
