Control Systems Engineer

What will you be doing?

· Designing and developing control systems using Siemens (S7, TIA Portal, WinCC) and Allen Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000)

· Developing and maintaining SCADA systems including Ignition and WinCC Professional

· Producing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Software Design Specifications (SDS)

· Creating and maintaining standard software blocks

· Supporting FATs, installation, testing and commissioning on site

· Troubleshooting and resolving control system issues

· Ensuring compliance with industry standards including ATEX, GAMP, FDA and SIL

Where you'll be doing it
You'll be joining a specialist engineering business delivering automated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. The team works closely across mechanical, process and EC&I disciplines to deliver safe, validated and efficient control systems in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll need:

· Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar

· Experience in panel design, instrumentation or automation projects

· Strong knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC systems

· Familiarity with SCADA and HMI platforms

· Experience producing structured control system documentation packs

· Solid problem-solving and fault-finding skills

· Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional international travel
