Position: 2026 project coordinator apprenticeship

This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience in the precast manufacturing process and involves coordinating design, manufacture, and assembly across major UK infrastructure and construction projects.

Wage: Competitive
Working Week
Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm. As a project‑led business, the location of our work can vary depending on project needs. This role may require you to be prepared to work away from home at project sites across the UK.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Laing O'Rourke's manufacturing and modular solutions are transforming traditional construction methodologies into a modern process of component‑based assembly, providing product sets including precast concrete building components, and modular bridges for the major highways and rail projects.

The Project Coordinator role will provide the development opportunity to experience first‑hand the precast manufacturing process, and be responsible for coordinating between design, manufacture, and assembly on some of the UK's most exciting major infrastructure and construction projects.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship starts at Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor then moves onto a Level 6 Construction site management Apprenticeship. On completion of both apprenticeships, you will remain in the business, gaining more responsibility.
