Mechanical Design Engineer
Location:
Leicester Salary GBP
45 50K + Benefits Permanent
Are you a creative problem–solver with a passion for designing bespoke machinery? Join a growing engineering firm in the East Midlands, where you ll lead the design of special purpose automation systems from concept to completion.
What You ll Do:- Design custom machinery using Solid Works
- Develop BOMs and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Select mechanical components and support build processes
- Collaborate with cross–functional teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Experience in machinery or automation design
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (Solid Edge, Solid Works for example)
- UK work eligibility (no sponsorship available)
