Civil Design Engineer – Build Housing

Overview

Due to growth within the team, my client, a successful privately owned housing developer, is looking for a
Civil Design Engineer to join the team based in Leicestershire.

• Develop road and sewer designs in collaboration with regulatory bodies to address all associated engineering issues.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed Section 38 and Section 104 designs.
• Produce external levels drawings and private drainage drawings.
• Assemble and deliver comprehensive civil engineering packages.
• Oversee the resolution of engineering and building-related issues.
• Assist in discharging engineering-related planning conditions.
• Arrange Section 38 and Section 104 maintenance inspections and bond releases.

• Experience working for a UK-based house builder or engineering consultancy is essential.
• Strong background in engineering design production.
• HNC in Civil Engineering Studies or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Civil Engineering role
• Extensive knowledge of Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements.
• Proficiency in highway design standards, sewers for adoption, and Building Regs
• PDS design software
• Micro Drainage design software
• AutoCAD
