Electrical Design Engineer

Now, they re looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in shaping the next generation of intelligent machinery.

• Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
• Develop electrical designs for special purpose machinery and automated equipment
• Produce wiring diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and BOMs
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS EN, IEC, CE/UKCA)
• Support panel build, machine wiring, and fault finding during build and commissioning
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to specify components
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
• Experience designing control panels and electrical systems for machinery or automation
• Understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, safety circuits)
