Senior Electrical Design Engineer

What Are We Looking For?

Owing to continued sustainable growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support on projects for our Asset Management business platform. You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low–carbon solutions.

As part of industry–leading multi–disciplined project teams, some of your key duties will include:

• Meeting with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements.
• Carrying out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify the most appropriate and yet innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Carrying out the planning and implementation of projects in association with our Delivery Management teams.
• Taking the lead on the development of Electrical and ICA design deliverables by you and your assigned team.
• Proactive 1–2–1 coaching of junior engineers to develop our future engineering leaders
• Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team and Senior Management.

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ideally have already achieved or close to achieving Chartered Engineer status.
• Detailed EICA specialist knowledge of British and European design standards including Wimes.
• Proven track record as a Senior Electrical Engineer in both a design office and a construction environment within the water (or related process) industry.
• A passion to succeed and develop your own and your team s career.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
