Electrical Maintenance Technician

Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom.

An Electrical Maintenance Engineer reporting to the Engineering Site Manager. Provide repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on process equipment and plant machinery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Work in partnership with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff, and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Be electrically biased while remaining mechanistically capable.
• Execute troubleshooting and fault‑finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Follow site H&S procedures and report any risks via the internal reporting process.

• Time‑served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry.
• Recognised Engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND).
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens and Schneider).
• Accustomed to fast‑paced and challenging working environments.
• Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency.

Day shifts (Mon‑Thu 08:00‑16:00, Fri 08:00‑15:00).
