Quality Conformance and Lineside Engineer
New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Aircraft modifications. On-site in Broughton. 35-hour week over 4.5 days. Potential for a Double Day Shift pattern in the future (includes a 20% increase). BPSS clearance required.
Responsibilities- Drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes.
- Deploy APQP and Quality Standards
- Support and Facilitate Failure Mode & Effects Analysis
- Create and update Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required
- Lead cost of non-quality forecasting
- Provide lineside support during start of production phases
- Have a sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements
- Experience looking at preventative and quality methods
- Experience looking at modifications on the aircraft
- Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, CP and PPV methods
- BPSS clearance required
