Civil Design Engineer

We're looking for an Civil Design Engineer to join our team based in Norwich (Wymondham) or Liverpool (Speke).

Location: Norwich (Wymondham) or Liverpool (Speke)
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

• Qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (BSc, BEng, MSc or MEng)
• Experienced within a civil engineering consultancy delivering drainage and infrastructure designs for residential, commercial and educational developments
• Proficient in Autodesk Info Drainage, Micro Drainage, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Knowledgeable about surface water drainage, foul water drainage, SuDS design and the CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual
• Holder of a Full driving licence

As an Engineer, you'll be working within the Building Civils team, supporting them in delivering high-quality and sustainable civil engineering solutions.

You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and statutory bodies to deliver technically robust and practical engineering solutions that make a real difference.

Your day to daywill include:

• Undertaking the design of surface water, foul water and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) using industry-standard software
• Preparing drainage strategies and technical documentation to support planning applications, technical approvals and statutory submissions
• Producing and checking civil engineering calculations, drawings, design models, reports, specifications and schedules
• Coordinating civil engineering designs with other technical disciplines and the wider design team
• Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities and statutory undertakers to support successful project delivery
