Description:
As a Festival Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences across our festivals and live music projects. Working within the Cream team, a group united by a passion for music, events, and putting people first, you will support the planning and delivery of festival operations from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, creative environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is energised by the buzz of live events.

- Ideally candidates will have experience working onsite at festivals or in live music/electronic music venues/clubs or related industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders including vendors, artists, staff, and contractors.
- Proficiency in basic administrative tools such as spreadsheets, email platforms, and project management software.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work long hours during event periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
- Passion for music and live events, and a genuine excitement for delivering exceptional festival experiences.
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Strong team player who values collaboration and celebrates shared success.
- Calm under pressure, with excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think clearly in fast‑paced environments.

The Role Includes Event Planning & Preparation
- Assist with pre‑event planning, timelines, and operational checklists.
- Coordinate communication with vendors, suppliers, performers, and contractors.
- Support permitting, documentation, and compliance tasks.
- Help organise supplies, materials, and equipment for festival activation.
- Contribute creative ideas that enhance the event experience within music focused environments.
- Serve as a point of contact during load‑in, event days, and load‑out.
- Assist in ordering signage and equipment.
- Support volunteer and staff coordination, including distributing credentials and schedules.
- Ensure safety protocols, crowd flow, and general event standards are maintained.
- Help manage vendor load‑in/load‑out processes and placement.
