Customer Service Rep, Event Manager / Planner
Overview
Fixed term contract until end of June 2026. 20 hours per week plus overtime. £26,270 pro rata per annum (£13.65 per hour), subject to annual pay review. Time and a half payable between 1am and 8am and on Bank Holidays.
Join our friendly back of house team in a varied and dynamic role, ensuring our artists, clients and visitors enjoy the best possible experience at Brighton Dome’s historic destination venues. The role is primarily to ensure sufficient cover during the Brighton Festival period in May, with employment continuing through to the end of June to support post Festival activity.

- Shifts typically range from 6 to 12 hours in length, with working hours between 8am and 2am. The role requires the ability to remain physically mobile for up to 6 to 8 hours per shift, including lifting and moving items in line with manual handling guidelines.
- Excellent weekend availability is essential.
- Candidates must have strong availability and flexibility during the first month of employment to complete training in the lead up to Brighton Festival in May.
- VSAs are at the centre of event activity. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for practical work, excellent customer service skills and experience in a hands-on role within a venue, arts or entertainment environment.
Shifts are variable across daytime, evening and weekends in line with event requirements. Availability across a range of shifts each week is expected.
